MY FAV MACHO MOVIES (INDIAN)

Every country has men and they have a peculiar taste in entertainment. Blame it on the hormones or evolution!! In the past, it was fight until death e.g Ankam in southern India or the gladiatorial combat of ancient Greece. We have moved on (read become more civilized) but even today the more sadist amongst us have mixed martial arts and other full contact fight championships for their entertainment. Less sadists go for gory horror/action movies.
Unfortunately, the film industry, in India, does not have any regard for male audience and therefore produces more chick flicks than action flicks. Personally, I dont think we have ever had a pure action flick with gore in it - movies like High tension or even a Saving Private Ryan.
After perusing through all these sixty years of Indian cinema, I could hardly find a pure action flick. These are my top ten macho movies. Its my list and therefore has regional flicks too.

Unfortunately I dont have an Indian movie which can take the number 1 slot. I dont think there is any movie which deserves the hallowed spot .....waiting for that number one flick...:) . I really wish to see a movie on Shivaji Maharaj or Prithvi Raj Chauhan that does justice to their valor...a la 300 !!!
